Montreal Shopping

Since it's Friday I thought I would post a few of my finds from Montreal :) I have to say I was a little gun shy when I first walked into @Simons for the first time. It was like F21 on steriods and had the most {rubs forehead} interesting mix of brands. Downstairs was trendy women's clothing {along with men's, swim, active, accessories, shoes...insane} I mean, where else can get a $30 handbag and grab a $1400 Chloe bag as well {huh?!}. Upstairs where the more contempary clothing was, you had to be careful what you fell in love with before checking the price tag...you never knew if it would be $45 or $500. I guess that makes shopping a little more interesting! Let's just say, day two, I wasn't so shy. I fit right in and found some fabulous finds {grin}.

Pictures were taken by the beautiful lake front in Milwaukee. Pretty soon the lake front will be even more busy with festivals at the Summerfest grounds almost every weekend. This is when living in WI {cringe - that's hard to say for a IL girl!!} and Milwaukee are worth it.

Must have Item: Tory Burch Feed Bag

So this is a little bit of a mean post...I hate, and I mean HATE when I find something great online and I can't have it. Well that would be this, the limited edition Tory Burch Feed Bag.

I'm in love {sigh} with @HoltRenfrew. It's another fabulous department store {they don't make em' like they used to} with amazing brands, great displays, and new to me {only in Canada - Jerks}. I spent 2 days walking through the store {Toronto & Montreal} just people watching and browsing. So to say the least, I was pretty darn stoked when I found my latest exclusive for my collection.

Tory Burch partnered with FEED to create a super cute tote that proceeds from the sale will support FEED, which works with the United Nations to help combat world hunger and the Tory Burch Foundation, which provides micro-loans to women owned small businesses in the U. S. {who doesn't love that!?}

Stripes and Flowers

Today was back to reality {grr}. It's amazing how salty I was this morning {Thanks to the certain friend for pointing it out on FB!}.  It's OK, I have a lot to be thankful for, just coming back from vacation, going to a stable job doing what I love {most days!}, so I put on my big girl pants {and a new top} and went. 

We stumbled upon this cute little garden in Vieux-Montréal {old town} on the first day we were in Montreal. It reminded me of all the fabulous gardens you come across in the country villages in Europe. Dreamy right? Some gentleman even commented on our pictures and my outfit {grins} He must have great taste :)
